Late-Season Note: As we near the end of the chestnut season, a small number of nuts may show surface discoloration or light mold. This can usually be washed off before cooking. Please check nuts after roasting or cooking and discard any with mold inside. A few bad nuts are normal at this point in the season—if you find more than expected, please let us know.
